Collectible Russian Doll – Red Dress

This elegant doll represents the image of an urban Boyarynya - a noble Russian lady dressed in festive attire from the 19th century.

She wears a long brocade gown with decorative braid trim and a cloak with wide sleeves styled after the 19th century. The costume is accented with fur trim. On her head is a traditional full kokoshnik "Sudarushka", also trimmed with fur, crafted in the spirit of classic Russian fashion.

The doll is handcrafted by skilled artisans of Russian doll-making. The head and hands are made of bisque porcelain with a soft matte finish, and the face is hand-painted with tempera paints. The clothing is sewn from natural fabrics - brocade, satin, and braid - with meticulous attention to detail.
