The front of the cross depicts the Crucifixion of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
The reverse side bears the Troparion to the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord:
"O Lord, save Your people and bless Your inheritance. Grant victory to Orthodox Christians over their adversaries, and by Your Cross preserve Your dwelling.
