“Grid Blues” is a modern interpretation of the “Cobalt Net” pattern, a recognized classic of the Imperial Porcelain Factory. The pink color refers to the original prototype of this legendary motif, the “Sobstvenny” tableware set of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna, created in the 1750s and now preserved in the collection of the State Hermitage Museum.
